ABOUT
INDIAN HILLS RV RESORT

Indian Hills RV Resort is a luxurious escape located in the heart of the McMullen Valley. Our community is adjacent to booming agricultural activity, active gold mines, and plenty of desert recreation. With its mild winters and unforgettable scenic views, Indian Hills RV Resort offers a unique experience for those looking to get away from it all and enjoy life in a distinct desert community.

The Resort spans 85 acres and offers large, private RV spaces in a quiet, family setting that can accommodate any RV size, year-round. Nestled between the beautiful Harquahala Mountains, the surrounding area offers top-tier outdoor experiences for all residents and visitors.

Indian Hills RV Resort provides the amenities and activities our guests need to enjoy a happy and healthy lifestyle. In addition to our community center and sports courts, there are several miles of desert hiking trails surrounding the resort, including the Arizona Peace Trail. These scenic trails are perfect for hiking, exploring, and camping.

Indian Hills RV Resort continues to evolve and grow. A new fire pit lounge area, fenced artificial-turf dog park, and pitch and putt golfing green was added to the resort in October 2023. Summer 2024 plans call for adding an additional (30) premium pull through RV spaces, which will range from 50 x 50 ft. to 50 x 100 ft.

TESTIMONIALS

I found my Jan/Feb 2023 stay to be most enjoyable. In the midst of significant renovation and expansion under new ownership, reviews from even a year ago won’t reflect current (and future) conditions. RV spots are quite large with mature vegetation, nice new community room, bathrooms and laundry facilities, and staff who were very friendly and helpful. The rural setting is peaceful, yet in close proximity to the small town of Salome with convenient services. I certainly recommend Indian Hills and plan to return in the future to see how the ambitious redevelopment plans have unfolded.

The way an RV park should be. Large sites, this park is not like others, people packed in like sardines just to make more money. The owner was thinking of the RVers, not the dollar bill. Quiet, clean would stay again.

We spent two nights at the RV Park. Having spent the previous two nights at Picacho Peak - Railroad and Interstate 10 - this location was nice and quiet. With a cell tower just a few hundred yards away - a solid signal for the laptop. The 'online' booking and payment went well! No leveling required, stayed hitched up. Two new water faucets, and the dump connection also new. Power: 30A, no problems. Will be heading back that way to south-east Arizona after winter and will stay here again!

Indian Hills RV Resort is gorgeous! Two new Rec rooms with large screen TV's and wi-fi, kitchenette area, new laundry room, with new washers and dryers. New and clean restrooms and shower facilities. Beautiful landscaping with citrus and pine trees, cane, and oleanders. Night time lighting, and cameras for security and best of all, friendly neighbors.

Lot sizes are very large. Very quiet and peaceful. New owner has made numerous improvements and more sites are now being developed. Highly recommend!

ADVENTURE
AWAITS

Salome serves as a “home base” to the Arizona Peace Trail. At over 675 miles long, The Arizona Peace Trail is the largest OHV Loop Trail in the United States! Many adventurers use Indian Hills RV Resort as a base camp before venturing off into their desert adventure.

Just in case aren’t ready to tackle 675 miles of trail, Salome is home to some of the BEST ATV and UTV off-road trails in Arizona. Surrounded by the Harquahala mountains, Salome has plenty of abandoned gold mines, natural features, washes, and trails to explore.

“We staged two Arizona Peace Trail loops from Indian Hills RV Resort. North loop to Lake Alamo, Wikieup, Kingman, Oatman, and Lake Havasu back to Salome. Great riding around Salome, no one is out there. The ride to Mount Harquahala is awesome.”
